• Your sperm count, movement and shape — the three numbers that decide most of the male side of fertility.

• Whether anything needs fixing, and how long it takes. Sperm take roughly three months to develop, so improvements made today show up in about a quarter.
• Whether you need anything at all beyond lifestyle changes — which is often the case.
